Earth, 2046. A strange crystal has appeared, chaperoned by immense ethereal creatures standing 11 foot tall, the humans react in the only way they know how.. force. The crystal shatters plunging the world into disarray, crops wont grow, the water, polluted. Humans are on the verge of extinction due to the appearance of the Skeksi, a race seemingly bred to hunt humans in the desert waste that is earth.  
This creature has adapted to the wastelands of earth wonderfully, although it needs to feed on the essence of humans to survive, so It hunts them down and uses its cobbled together weapon to subdue them, as it does not want its prey to die for some time the weapons use is to hook into the preys flesh and incapacitate them, also equipped with knuckle dusters to rend unconscious any unlucky enough to get in its grips, and a small pommel blade to dispatch any too strong or wild to subdue. 

A project for university where we were tasked with the re-imagining of a character from the Dark Crystal universe. I chose the Skeksi's and went to town making them fit into a Mad Max-esque world.
